This was a custom painting I did for my brother's music studio. He plays the guitar, and as a kid the very first guitar I remember him having was a red electric guitar, so that became the focus of this painting.

I absolutely love spring and summer. My soul just seems to breathes better. I painted this one in August as I enjoyed the last bits of summer, and anticipated what was about to come.

This is a piece I did just for fun. I experimented with different painting techniques and brushes and the outcome is rather warm and heartfealt piece.

I painted this piece specifically for my kitchen. I have kind of a Tuscan theme going on, and this painting was a more modern take on it.

Doves are a rare bread and choose a single mate to be with for their entire lifetime. It is why two doves symbolize an everlasting love. This particular dove is still on that quest of searching. Looking for it's second half to make it complete.

This piece was inspired on a walk home one spring day. As I walked I noticed that the side of the road was completely covered with snails. Every spring they're there again and again.

This painting is a progression from Sunset Orchard. I really liked the hanging grapes and wanted to experiment more with that. I painted it to coordinate with Sunset Orchard to decorate my kitchen, but in the end I ended up selling it.

Another take on a more modern version of the typical Tuscan style paintings. It depectis how the sky would look at different times of the day each broken up into their own section.

A beautiful custom piece I made as a Christmas present for my mother-in-law. She really liked 'Blue Butterfly Tree', which I had sold, so I painted this one speciffacally for her to match her kitchen.

This painting was inspired by a handmade necklace I got from Etsy. It was a bird's nest made from wrapped silver wire with 3 little blue beads in the center for eggs. Super cute. Super simple. It's sill one of my favorite necklaces! And thus began my obsession with paining nests.

This painting started with the tree stump icon I had created as part of my senior project at Kansas City Art Institute. The icon was meant to represent the story of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

As an experimental piece, I started by playing with techniques for the background and decided to create a stylized butterfly to add to it.

This was actually the first painting that started my new style, and my new refreshed love of painting. It had been quite a while since I had pick up a brush before this piece. And now I can't put the brush down.

This is a painting about hope.
As the figure crouches on the tree stump, which was once a beautiful tree, she cluches a piece of fruit that it had left behind.

This is one of my favorite pieces. The contrasting bright colors and swirling brush style make it a fun and whimsical work of art.

This was my first experimentation with painting on two panels. I got an incredible response from it, which inspired me do to several more! This one, as the title suggests, is about a tree that is home to many beautiful blue butterflies.

I vacationed in Gulf Shores Alabama one summer and fell in love with all pelicans. They were everywhere! I had to paint the beauty I saw in them.

This was one of my earlier paintings. It was painted entirely with a pallet knife. I was trying to find a way too loosen my style a bit and let go. I think it worked quite well.

I love the connection between nature and the human psyche. How refreshing it is for the soul to stop and completely take in something as simple as a warm day and fresh air.

I painted this piece to donate to an action that was raising money for a local school. It represents the nurture, growth, and beautiful qualities it takes to raise a child.
